A Letter from Someone Who Gets It

Dear Griever.

You didn’t choose this path.
And yet, here you are carrying something so heavy, its hard to explain.
If today feels like too much, please know: You’re not alone.
Grief shows up in so many ways. Quiet tears, angry silence, confusion, numbness… or all of it at once. I’ve felt
it too. I’ve lived through moments I never saw coming, and survived days I didn’t think I could.
There’s no roadmap for this. No step-by-step to healing.
But I want to offer you what I wish someone had told me:- You don’t have to rush.- You don’t have to move on.- You’re allowed to feel everything and nothing.- You are still worthy of joy, rest, and hope.
Grief doesn’t go away. But it changes.
It softens, then returns. It becomes something you carry, not something that crushes. And someday on a quiet
walk, during a song, or while watching a sunset you might feel a flicker of peace again.
I hope you let yourself feel it.
Not because you’ve forgotten, but because your love is still alive.
If travel ever calls to you as a way to reflect, honor, or just breath I’d be honored to walk with you.
Until then, just know this:
Your seen. You’re not alone. And you are deeply loved.
With compassion,
Gloria.
