Why Travel Therapy is My Heart Work

Why Travel Therapy—Especially Cruise Therapy—is My Heart Work

When people ask me what kind of travel I specialize in, I usually start by saying, “I can plan just about any kind of trip.” And that’s true—I’ve helped families book magical vacations, couples plan romantic getaways, and friends pull off unforgettable group adventures. But there’s one kind of travel that sits closest to my heart: travel therapy.

Not just because it sounds good. But because I live it.

I’m a grieving mom. I’ve also lost my mom. And not long ago, I lost my significant other—the person I thought I’d spend the rest of my life with. Grief has been an ongoing part of my story. It shows up in waves. Some gentle, others fierce. And it’s in that ebb and flow that I discovered the healing power of travel.

Not escape. But space.

Not distraction. But renewal.

One of the most powerful tools in that healing has been cruise therapy. There’s something about being on the open sea—with no expectations, no timeline, just space to be—that offers comfort and clarity. A hammock on a balcony. The sound of the water. A sunrise or sunset that reminds me I’m still here. These moments have helped me breathe again.

That’s why I do what I do.

That’s why I serve grieving moms and hurting hearts.

That’s why I help others find their own version of healing through travel.

Yes, I can help with all types of vacations. But when someone comes to me and says, “I don’t even know what I need, but I just need to go somewhere and breathe,”—I know exactly how to walk alongside them.

This isn’t just a business for me. This is my ministry. My calling. My way of helping others find a moment of peace in the middle of the storm.

If you’ve been carrying grief, or walking through a hard season, I want you to know—you’re not alone. And when you’re ready, I’m here.
